Welcome to jewel of healthcare centers; the Taraba State Specialist Hospital, Jalingo. I am honored and fortunate to have the opportunity to serve every patient in the state.

Our motto "patients first" is loud and clear.  It is a proclamation of the value we place on each and every life. It is also an explicit declaration from us ensuring we do all we can in providing every patient the best possible health care in a safe, timely, graceful and respectable manner.

As CMD/CEO, I have a solemn duty to serve and protect the interest of all patients. My mandate from the executive governor, His Excellency Pharmacist Danbaba Suntai who I serve at his pleasure is to "put people first". Together with a great, dynamic and diverse team of staff and under the canopy of an unprecedented political commitment by the Governor, I intend to fulfill this directive.

On a personal note, based on the wisdom of my late father, I commit to the principles of hard work, honesty and humility. I maintain a horizontal system of management and encourage everyone including patients, family members, staff and visitors to our center to provide us with feedback on how we can improve. My best advice came from a patient of mine who said "the largest room in the world is that of improvement-keep it open". This we shall.
